Low maintenance and energy efficient

Barton Mews benefits from the latest in energy-saving features including low maintenance double glazing, efficient heating and modern insulation to Zurich home build standards, all designed to keep bills to a minimum and save you money.

 

Shaw's concierge services

These are included within the service charge to support the call assist and on-site emergency alarm service. The service offers occasional pop-in checks when needed and help with accessing internal and external services to support your independent life style. The scheme manager and her team are always happy to provide a range of additional support services and administration assistance to meet your needs, all delivered through your friendly on-site "hotel services" team.

 

Hotel services

These are managed by Shaw healthcare, offering additional assistance for all your normal daily living needs. Communal domestic and concierge help is on-hand, 24-hours a day, 365 days a year, for your convenience. In addition, our fully trained handy man can provide additional services - purchased on site as required.

 

Care Services

Optional personal care services and additional support for residents can be arranged through the scheme manager. Follow the Care Packages link in the Services section for further details.

 

Security

Every effort goes into ensuring the scheme is secure through the provision of 24-hour staffing and emergency alarms.

 

Car Parking

Unlike most retirement developments, each apartment is entitled to park one vehicle in the designated area reserved for Barton Mews. There are no individually allocated spaces within this area however.

 

Gardening

The Development has its own landscaped garden and residents can set up gardening clubs on a self managed basis. Residents can also adopt border areas nearby.

 

Can I bring my pet?

Pets can be brought into the scheme so long as owners are able to look after them and comply with guidance issued by the scheme manager. Alternative arrangements will be sought, such as adoption by neighbours, for pets whose owners can no longer manage them.
